A Milestone Project
Our support programs motivate the candidates to “Earn and Learn” and to explore their hidden potential in extra-curricular activities too. Our few candidates pursue education along with part time or full time job in and addition to extra-curricular activities. With physical limitations, managing such hectic daily routine by using public mode of transport becomes challenging and strenuous.
To overcome this issue, the foundation arrived at a unique solution and with the support of its donors; it has earmarked a strong fund for this.
We started providing suitably modified two-wheeler scooter to our self-reliant deserving candidates since 2014. Though these candidates are self -reliant, initially with their meager income they are not eligible for bank / financial institute loans with high rates on interest. To maintain the statuesque of self-reliant candidates, we provide these vehicles on “Interest Free Vehicle Loans”. This inculcates responsibility of debt repayment in the candidates and the most important factor of the recycling of funds is achieved through this. From the recycled funds, next vehicle is provided to another candidate.Make My Dream Foundation, is the first NGO, to solve on the mobility issue of the special ones at their early age and to help them to maintain their health. Till June 2017, the foundation provided such vehicles to 5 deserving candidates.
