Ms. Medha Kulkarni

Chairman

Ms. Medha Narayan Kulkarni, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Make My Dream Foundation, is the chief founder trustee since inception for past 9 years. She completed her dream by establishing Make My Dream Foundation and offered opportunity to many more fellow sufferers to fulfill their dream. She is suffering from congenital ailment, although that has never become hurdle in her life achievements.

She completed her graduation in commerce faculty in 1984. After that she joined Central Bank of India in May 1985 by clearing competitive examinations. She pursued C.A.I.I.B. during 1990 to 1993 and simultaneously completed Advanced Diploma in Japanese Language from Pune University in 1993. She also completed 3rd level (Sankkyu) of Japanese Proficiency Level Examination. She did translation, interpretation work for few years along with her bank job.

Ms. Medha is nature lover, trekker and world traveler. Reading Marathi literature is her hobby.

To pursue own dream and with an urge of working for fellow sufferers, she left the bank job in July 2008 after completing 23 years of service. She established Make My Dream Foundation on 27th March, 2009.

Medha is completely committed and fully devoted to the work of foundation. With her passion and dedication the foundation has reached to this stage and truly been able to make difference in so many children’s lives. Her work has been recognized with several awards.

She is a member of working committee for Divyang by Bhartiya Janata Party.

Mr. Gajanan Kulkarni

Secretary

Mr.Gajanan Narayan Kulkarni, Secretary and Joint Managing Trustee of Make My Dream Foundation, is founder trustee since inception for past 9 years. He is younger brother of Ms. Medha Kulkarni and has whole heartedly supported the cause.

A Commercial Artist by profession, Mr. Gajanan completed diploma in fine arts in 1988. He has also done Diploma in French Language from Pune University in 1992.

He has his own designing firm, G’nius Grafiks and his other venture G’nius Financial Services provides various investment solutions.

Gajanan is outdoor enthusiast and completed several trekking expeditions in Sahyadri and Himalayas. Recently he has completed bike trek to Leh and Ladakh. He loves nature photography and enjoys playing tennis.

He has worked along with Ms. Medha to build the base of Make My Dream Foundation right from the start. He is fully devoted in the work of foundation and his dedicated involvement helped the foundation to take a good shape. He takes care of designing and printing work of the foundation along with his secretarial portfolio.

Mrs. Aparna Kulkarni

Trustee

Mrs. Aparna Gajanan Kulkarni, Deputy Managing Trustee of Make My Dream Foundation, is founder trustee since inception for past 9 years. She is sister in law of Ms. Medha Kulkarni and has whole heartedly supported the cause.

Mrs. Aparna is Commercial Artist and Investment Consultant by profession. She completed Diploma in Fine Arts in 1990. She is partner in G’nius Grafiks and G’nius Financial Services.

She is very creative by nature and loves painting and sketching.

Aparna has also involved in Make My Dream Foundation since beginning. Her creative inputs and contributions have been very valuable for the foundation. She takes care of designing and printing work of the foundation along with her trusteeship portfolio.

Mrs. Sushama Kulkarni

Trustee

Mrs. Sushama Narayan Kulkarni, Trustee of Make My Dream Foundation, is founder trustee since inception for past 9 years. She is mother of Ms. Medha Kulkarni and has whole heartedly supported the cause. She brought up Medha like a normal child and her way of bringing up Medha helped her to overcome the agony of being special child. Her able guidance imbibed tremendous confidence in Medha which made her a self-reliant person in all walks of life.

She has retired from Agriculture department, Maharastra State after working for more than 33 years.

She loves cooking. Drawing and Spiritual Reading are her hobbies.

Sushama continues to motivate and guide Ms. Medha and the candidates. She is our most senior trustee.

Mrs. Savita Athavale

Trustee

Mrs. Savita Suhas Athavale, Treasurer and Trustee of Make My Dream Foundation, is founder trustee since inception for past 9 years. She is a friend of Ms. Medha Kulkarni and has whole heartedly supported the cause.

Mrs. Savita is a retired banker. She is science graduate and worked in Central Bank of India for 20 years.

She loves doing social work, listening music and travelling. She has been working with blind girls closely since 2001.

Since Make My Dream Foundation started in the year 2009, she has taken up this additional cause as well. With her banking background expertise, she has been capably handling the responsibilities of treasurer along with her portfolio of trusteeship.
