“Make My Dream Foundation”(MMDF), established on 27th March 2009, is a public charitable trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 with an objective of preserving the basic rights of disabled children. “Make My Dream Foundation” continues to tread the untrodden path of supporting the special children from the underprivileged sections of the society. It hosts a variety of initiatives like Trekking, Mobility Projects, Dream Vision Fund and Walkathon for Awareness along with its rehabilitation program.
“Make My Dream Foundation” has its genesis in the personal journey of Ms. Medha Kulkarni, the Founder and Managing trustee of MMDF, a person suffering from a congenital ailment.
She rose like the Phoenix from her mental trauma and depression due to the Spiritualism, philanthropic attitude and patronage of her parents and family members. The able guidance of great personalities in her life helped her to overcome the agony of being a special child. Reared and raised like a normal child, she grew to be a self-reliant person in all walks of life.
“Make My Dream Foundation” is an outcome of her urge to share the confidence and mental strength that she personally gained, with similarly affected ones.
Foundation of Make My Dream is about turning my dream into reality. Its Journey is like a bundle of energetic activities, contentment and creating success stories.

Managing Trustee and Founder
Make My Dream Foundation
While 13-15% of India's population is disabled, less than 5-6% of children with disability receive education under the inclusive education system. Major roadblock is the participation of all disabled people in several fields such as education, employment and visibility in the society.
The special children at MMDF hail from economically backward social category. Their parents being illiterate are not in a position to guide them about their future and career. The fight to make both ends meet is so tough that these parents land up in neglecting their special children.
Our Organization is non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and non-profit making.
We envision dignity for the disabled and a change within themselves and the society, as they become part of an inclusive society.
We firmly believe that physically challenged children, whom we call our special children, just need the right opportunities to make their dreams come true. Most of them are a reservoir of potential and talent. Unaware of their own abilities they need someone to hold their hand to unleash the same. We focus to provide them suitable environment and to make them self–aware. We aim at exploiting their potential to help them to reach new heights through self-reliance. We firmly believe that with adequate support and opportunities, they can create wonders.
The Foundation aims at dealing with and altering the apathy and boredom that prevails in the social mindsets regarding inclusion of the special children in society along with their education and employment. Our aim is to bring a change in the social attitude towards differently abled people around us.
Make My Dream Foundation aims at bridging this gap by empowering these special children through education and self-reliance and imbibing in them the confidence to participate in an inclusive society.
We want dignity for the disabled and their active participation in a more inclusive society.
Our Mission is to provide varied opportunities of education and self- reliance to the under privileged special candidates with value addition of personality transformation.
With the help of government, other NGO’s, social organizations and support from the society, we are committed to gear up the movement of development of the basic infrastructure for disabled to have hassle free mobile life and their visibility in public places.
