A unique counseling center is developed for personality transformation of these special ones. It helps in overall development of the candidates and is an ongoing process throughout the life. Counseling helps unrecognizing “Self”, unleashing one’s hidden potential and developing one’s own perception of life.
Our primary mission is to make the candidates self-reliant at the earliest. Self-reliance gives self-respect and changes one’s own perception of life drastically. Self-reliant people can pursue their dreams without hurdles and can get satisfaction.
Due to the financially challenged family background, we find that their parents indulge more into earning livelihood than working towards building the abilities of their physically challenged wards. Unaware of their wards’ innate qualities, parents are found neglecting them.
These parents opt for help offered by Government, and by NGOs and become dependent on that system. So, the thought of self-reliance does not even touch the minds of these candidates.
Make My Dream Foundation, envisaged the thought of “Earn and Learn” Our candidates initially found it hard to digest. But slowly, they understood the importance of dignified life and got ready to accept the “Earn and Learn” vision.
We are proud to state that out of 31 candidates supported till June 2017, 18 candidates have taken up the “Earn and Learn” way and this self-reliant system has helped them to lead a dignified life.
