Vanita Bhandari

Vanita enrolled with Make My Dream Foundation in the year 2012. Her both lower limbs are affected due to polio. She hails from Village Jagdale Vasti, Daund. She never been to school due to severe disability, but had completed tailoring education from Apang Kalyankari Kendra, Wanorie at the time of admission with us.

Journey with us

She completed Advanced Diploma in Tailoring and was given basic education with introduction to Marathi letters and numbers. She participated in our support program of personality development session and showed moderate improvement.

She worked in “Lui Braille Apang Sanstha” in Tailoring department for 2 years. She is running her own tailoring shop at Village Lonikand. She got married to physically challenged boy. She is financially independent and supports her family as well.
