Akshada Langote

Akshada enrolled with Make My Dream Foundation in the year 2011. Her lower limbs and right hand are affected due to polio. She hails from Vishrantwadi, Pune was under support program of Apang Kalyankari Kendra, Wanorie. She had completed 10th standard at the time of admission with us.

Journey with us

We got corrective surgeries of her both legs and then calipers and crutches were provided to her. Then she started walking and her mobility issue was resolved. She completed 12th standard MCVC – Travel and Tourism with 56.33% marks and skills development like spoken English, MSCIT. She participated in our support programs like personality development sessions, visits to NGO’s, health check-up camps and showed moderate improvement.

She worked in India Infoline for 6 months and then got married. Now she has taken break from job and have baby girl. She is independent and enjoys a good family life.
