Background and Admission

Enrolled with Make My Dream Foundation in 2011, Yuvraj is from Malad, Mumbai. At the time of his admission to Make My Dream Foundation, he had completed his 10th standard. He has Polio which affects both lower limbs.

Journey and Achievements

1. Academic and Skills Development:
   • Diploma in Electronics: Yuvraj successfully completed his Diploma in Electronics.
   • Skills Enhancement: He participated in skills development programs, MSCIT, including spoken English and drums, which significantly improved his communication skills and musical skills.
2. Support Programs and Activities:
   • Financial Support: We have provided full financial support for his diploma program throughout all three years.
   • Mobility Support: We have provided him with the modified Activa motorbike, which has improved his mobility! Customizing vehicles to better meet individual needs can make a big difference in someone’s quality of life. 
   • Personality Development Sessions: Actively engaged in sessions aimed at enhancing his personal and professional skills.
   • Visits and Camps: Took part in visits to NGOs, health check-up camps, and drawing competitions, showing notable progress in each.
   • Trekking Expeditions: Completed challenging trekking expeditions on Rajmachi Fort, Sinhgad Fort, Purandar Fort, Shivneri Fort, Lohogad Fort, Korigad Fort and Malhar Fort demonstrating his resilience and adventurous spirit.
3. Awards and Recognition:
   • Best Personality Award (2012-2013): Honoured with this award for his outstanding personality having human values.
   • Best Self-reliance Award (2013-2014): Honoured with this award for his outstanding financial independence and self-dignity.
   • Best Dedication Towards Aim Award (2014-2015): Honoured with this award for his outstanding commitment and dedication.
   • Orchestra Team Member: An active participant in our orchestra team, contributing to our annual gatherings.
4. Current Endeavours:
   • Self-Reliant: Yuvraj is doing a job in a private Company. 
5. Strength and Opportunity: 
   • Yuvraj is a truly inspiring individual with a strong sense of dedication and resilience.
   • Despite the physical challenge, he completed his education with his unwavering determination and commitment.      
   • He is very sincere, responsible, committed, kind hearted, a good listener and follower. 
   • He is the first one who has fully embraced and implemented the vision of Make My Dream Foundation’s “Earn and Learn” program. From the very first day of his journey with Make My Dream Foundation, he began earning and has lived with this principle, earning both self-respect and dignity.
   • His enthusiasm for adventurous activities like trekking demonstrates a willingness to embrace and overcome difficulties, a trait that is valuable for both personal and professional growth. He is the only one who has participated in all the trekking expeditions organized by Make My Dream Foundation. Hats off to him!
   • His eagerness to learn about values, principles, morals and intellectual growth indicates a deep interest in personal development and well-rounded approach in life. 
   • He integrates well in different social settings and has been delegating his time for Make My Dream Foundation’s official work since a few years back and followed the path of Make My Dream Foundation’s principle to develop the next generation of volunteers from its beneficiaries.
