Mr. Madhukar Deshpande
Mr. Madhukar Deshpande holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and has had a distinguished career, including serving as Corporate Vice President at Kirloskar Brothers Limited. His experience extends to his roles as trustee of Vikas Charitable Trust and Radhabai Maternity Home Trust, both based in Kirloskarwadi. Currently, he is the President of Swami Vivekanand Jeevanjyot Sanstha in Pune.
Mr. Deshpande has been associated with Make My Dream Foundation since 2015. His extensive background in both corporate and charitable sectors, combined with his ongoing commitment to community service, makes him a valuable member of our Advisory Panel.
Mr. Shrikant Khisti
Mr. Shrikant Khisti, a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in auditing, taxation, and related fields, has been a cornerstone of Make My Dream Foundation since its inception. In addition to his role with the foundation, he has served as a consultant for Ramkrishna Math in Pune for the past 22 years. His extensive expertise and longstanding commitment significantly contribute to the foundation’s financial and strategic guidance.
Mr. Raghunath Sowani
Mr. Raghunath Sowani, a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in auditing, taxation, and related fields, joined Make My Dream Foundation’s advisory panel in 2022. He has also served as a consultant for S. K. Kulkarni, C.A. Company. His extensive expertise and experience bring valuable insights to our financial and strategic operations.
Mr. Avinash Karkande
Mr. Avinash Karkande, an advocate with over 35 years of extensive practice, has been a member of the Advisory Panel at Make My Dream Foundation since 2022. He is a renowned consultant for public charitable trust matters at the Charity Commissioner Office in Pune. His invaluable guidance helps ensure the effective management and compliance of our activities, providing essential support for every step of our operations.
Mrs. Sushama Kulkarni
Mrs. Sushama Kulkarni is a founder trustee of Make My Dream Foundation since its inception, dedicating 13 years to supporting its mission. As the mother of Ms. Medha Kulkarni, she has embraced her role with unwavering commitment, raising Medha with the same love and expectations as any other child. This approach has helped Medha navigate the challenges of being a special child, instilling her with confidence and independence.
Having retired from the Agriculture Department of Maharashtra after over 33 years of service, Sushama brings a wealth of experience to the foundation. She has a passion for cooking, and her hobbies include drawing and spiritual reading.
As our most senior trustee she retired in 2022 as trusteeship. Sushama continues to inspire and guide both Medha and the candidates, offering her wisdom and support to help them realize their potential. Her dedication and nurturing spirit are invaluable to our community.
Mrs. Savita Athavale
Mrs. Savita Athavale is a founder trustee and the treasurer of Make My Dream Foundation, having dedicated 13 years to supporting its mission. A close friend of Ms. Medha Kulkarni, she has wholeheartedly embraced the cause.
A retired banker with a science degree, Mrs. Savita spent 20 years at the Central Bank of India. Her passion for social work has led her to work closely with blind girls since 2001, and since the foundation’s inception in 2009, she has expanded her efforts to support a broader community.
Due to health problems she retired in 2022 as trusteeship. With her banking expertise, she effectively managed the responsibilities of treasurer while also fulfilling her duties as a trustee. In addition to her commitment to social causes, Mrs. Savita enjoys listening to music and traveling, enriching her life and inspiring those around her.
