Background and Admission

Enrolled with Make My Dream Foundation in 2012, Akash hails from Lohogaon, Pune. He had completed his 10th standard at the time of joining Make My Dream Foundation. He suffers from congenital hip disarticulation and scoliosis.

   • Bachelor of Computer Applications: He successfully completed Bachelor of Computer Applications.
   • Skills Enhancement: Acquired skills in MSCIT and spoken English which contributed to his professional growth.

   • Financial Support: We have provided financial support for his Bachelors program throughout two years.
   • Personality Development Sessions: Actively engaged in sessions aimed at enhancing his personal and professional skills.
   • Visits and Camps: Took part in visits to NGOs and health check-up camps showing notable sincerity.
   • Trekking Expeditions: Completed challenging trekking expeditions on Rajmachi Fort, Sinhgad Fort, Purandar Fort, Shivneri Fort, Lohogad Fort and Korigad Fort demonstrating his resilience and adventurous spirit.

   • Best Academics Award (2012-2013) and (2013-2014): Honoured with this award for his outstanding academic excellence.
   • Best Dedication Towards Aim (2012-2013) (2015-2016): Honoured with this award for his outstanding commitment and dedication.
   • Orchestra Team Member: An active participant in our orchestra team, contributing to our annual gatherings.

   • Self-Reliant: Akash is working in a renowned online shopping company.
   • Special Mention: Akash is having his own YouTube Channel to inspire fellow sufferers. Despite his challenges, he became successful in his life and got felicitated from society and honoured with many more awards.

   • Despite the physical challenge of needing to walk with the support of his hands, he has mentally overcome all barriers and achieved success, thanks to strong family support, guidance from mentors, and his own unwavering determination.
